Diagnostics and calculation of the cost of work
The repair price is determined only after the diagnosis. Diagnostics is free for equipment purchased from us. Please note that during the diagnostic process, not all equipment defects can be detected. For example, our service center accepts a quadrocopter for diagnostics, which cannot be lifted into the air due to malfunctions of mechanical components. In this case, we will calculate the cost and scope of work / spare parts for the repair of faulty components, agree on the cost and terms with the Client, repair the mechanics and, in order to issue a guarantee for the work performed, before issuing you a quadcopter, we will conduct a flight test. During this test, malfunctions of other parts of the quadcopter that are not related to mechanics, which could not be identified without flight tests, may be detected. In this case, the final cost of the repair may be higher than originally calculated, as it will require the elimination of faults identified in flight.
The repair period after the diagnosis is 5-7 working days. Be sure to attach a copy of the warranty card to the package (if you bought it from ModelForce.eu), fill out the service acceptance certificate form (attachment) and describe the faults in detail.
Diagnostics with the opening of equipment not purchased from us costs 40 euros. If, as a result of the diagnostics, malfunctions are found and repairs are required, no funds will be charged for the diagnostics, the client pays only for repairs and spare parts.
Attention!
- Updating the software does not guarantee the elimination of problems that are not directly related to the operation of the software. Often, software updates are only the first step towards a full-fledged equipment diagnostics, which allows you to simply start the equipment, upload flight records and parameters, based on which you can then decide on the condition of the product.
- For warranty repairs, we accept equipment purchased only from ModelForce. Only quadcopters and remote controllers are accepted for scheduled repairs (stabilizers are only purchased from us).
- Phantom 1, 2 and 3 of the first versions as well as Inspire 1 are not accepted for repair.
