Warranty

The conditions for the exchange and return of goods purchased in our store fully comply with the Law of the Republic of Estonia “On Consumer Rights Protection” and are described in detail on the page of our website.

ModelForce provides warranty service during the warranty period under the following conditions:

1. Warranty service is carried out under the following conditions:

  • During the warranty period, the product was operated in the normal mode in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or installation of equipment has not been performed.
  • Markings, serial numbers, waterproof tags, authenticity protection tags, etc. do not show signs of tampering or design modifications.
  • Provision of documents confirming the fact of purchase: a bill of lading and a warranty card indicating the serial numbers of the devices.

2. In the following cases, warranty service is not provided:

  • Damage due to factors beyond the control of the manufacturer.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly or opening of the case, violation of the instructions contained in the official manuals.
  • Damage caused by improper installation, use or operation in violation of the instructions contained in the manuals.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modification of electrical circuits, inconsistencies in the used batteries and charger, or violation of the rules for their operation.
  • Damage caused during flights performed in violation of the instructions given in the manuals.
  • Damage caused by operation under bad weather conditions (i.e. strong wind, snow, rain, sand/dust storms, etc.).
  • Damage caused by operating the products in an electromagnetic interference environment (i.e. in mining areas, near radio transmission towers, high voltage power lines, substations, etc.).
  • Damage caused by the operation of products in conditions of known interference from other wireless devices (transmitters, video links, cellular networks, Wi-Fi networks, etc.).
  • Damage caused by the operation of products with a weight load exceeding the safe takeoff weight.
  • Damage caused by intentionally flying with end-of-life components or defective components.
  • Damage caused by reliability and compatibility issues when using third party components that have not been authorized by the manufacturer.
  • Damage caused by operating the product with an insufficiently charged or defective battery.

3. Other terms

  • DJI asks its customers to pay the shipping costs for products sent in for return, repair, or exchange. After-sales service technicians will examine the products to determine the cause of the problem and the area of responsibility. If there is a manufacturing quality problem, DJI will bear all costs associated with inspections, materials, labor, and shipping the repaired product back to the consumer.
  • If DJI determines that the item(s) are not covered by the warranty terms, DJI will advise the customer of the cost of repair and return shipping before proceeding to repair or return the item(s).
  • If the problem with the product is not under warranty or is caused by conditions unrelated to workmanship, the cost of inspections, materials and labor will be charged to the consumer depending on the nature of the problem.
