It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with any applicable laws concerning the use of AeroScope within the jurisdiction(s) of operation.

    Designed for continuous protection of large-scale sites, the AeroScope stationary unit supports customization and construction according to the specific site and user demands to completely cover the surrounding airspace. Under ideal conditions, the system can monitor a range of up to 50 km and obtain key information from drones in as fast as 2 seconds. Monitoring data can be integrated with users’ existing security systems to efficiently provide an integrated monitoring system.

    This system also supports public cloud, private cloud, and local deployment, capable of meeting specific needs such as off-site monitoring and data segregation.

    The portable unit allows quick deployment and start-up of the system in the field. The device is a single unit, ready for operation. The system can be powered either from TB50 smart batteries or from power sources located at the temporary system location.     GENERAL

    1. When will AeroScope be available for purchase?

    AeroScope is already available for purchase. However, modules that require a small installation process are currently available only on pre-order. You need to fill out a request form if you want to buy a module.

    2. Can AeroScope protect against all drones?

    Currently, AeroScope can only detect DJI drones, which are by far the most numerous on the market in terms of brand presence.

    However, DJI plans to update the firmware soon so that the device can find drones from other brands in the air.

    3. Can a drone operator avoid this kind of identification?

    Personal information does not pass from the pilot to the AeroScope user. Drone pilots will be alerted by their drone’s serial number or registration number in countries where it has been done.

    4. How does AeroScope work?

    DJI AeroScope intercepts the signals exchanged between the aircraft and the remote controller. AeroScope is able to decode this data (using DJI proprietary systems) to read the telemetry.

    5. What software does AeroScope use?

    A new piece of software from DJI called “AeroScope Backstage Management System”. This program will help the system operator conveniently track drones, and this can be done using the handheld system module that comes with the CrystalSky display equipment, or using any device connected to the stationary version of AeroScope. You will also have access to the SDK service if you need to integrate your own functionality or synchronize it with other systems.

    6. Does the AeroScope module need WiFi or GPS for control?

    No. The AeroScope drone recognition system will function without an Internet connection or geolocation systems.

    7. Is the data collected by AeroScope sent to a third party?

    No. Only the operator of the specific AeroScope will have access to the collected data.

    8. How many drones can AeroScope recognize at the same time?

    Theoretically, there are no restrictions on the number of drones that can be recognized at a time.

    9. Can an operator control unauthorized drones using the DJI AeroScope?

    AeroScope is a drone recognition system. It is not designed to intercept them and take control of them, force them to land, or any other similar action. It is designed to help you identify threats and provide you with as much information as possible so you can make a security decision.

    10. Can anyone buy AeroScope?

    No. The AeroScope system is only sold to eligible commercial or public organizations for their work.
