Two Cameras, Unlimited Possibilities
With the Mavic 3, you won’t have to worry about pro-level shooting as the system uses built-in imaging capabilities to record video, delivering incredible high-resolution results to the user. The drone camera is able to capture up to a billion colors due to the 10-bit D-Log color profile. You will get natural color gradations as well as more options and flexibility during material processing.
It supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422, and Apple ProRes 422 LT in Mavic 3 Cine version
DJI has released two versions: Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine. The main difference between the two modifications is the camera specifications. While DJI Mavic 3 Cine supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ and H.264/H.265 encoding, DJI Mavic 3 only supports H.264/H.265 encoding. At the same time, the data transfer rate of the first model is up to 3772 Mbps. The Mavic 3 Cine also includes a built-in 1TB SSD and a 10Gbps light cable. This makes professional shooting, editing and content creation much easier.
Hasselblad L2D-20c Camera
The Hasselblad camera is a guarantee of high quality shooting and a continuation of the glorious traditions of the Swedish brand. Hasselblad L1D-20c20 camera is: 20MP photo, 12.8 stops dynamic range, f/2.8-11 adjustable aperture, 24mm EGF, AF technology using VDAF video sensors
CMOS 4/3 Sensor
The 4/3 CMOS sensor is large and ensures the Mavic 3's high-resolution aerial photography, wide dynamic range, and effective noise reduction in low light conditions. Create aerial masterpieces or get detailed visual information!
12.8 stops dynamic range
Optimal image quality is what gives you the CMOS 4/3 sensor's performance combined with 12.8 stops of dynamic range. More detail in both highlights and shadows, allowing you to bring your materials to the highest professional level.
Adjustable aperture
An important advantage of the new camera is the ability to adjust the aperture as you need in certain shooting conditions and for certain tasks. Poor lighting is not a problem as the f/2.8 aperture provides more light. When there is enough light, simply lower your shutter speed to create smooth, natural shots.
A Larger Sensor Size
For such a compact drone, the lens weight was made less than 13 grams, but the shooting quality remained high, including due to the 24 mm equivalent focal length, autofocus support and a wider viewing angle of 84 °. In this way, more details can be included in each frame.
Fast focusing with VDAF
The Mavic 3's Hasselblad camera is equipped with Image Sensor Autofocus (VDAF). The focusing speed has been optimized by the technology for obtaining distance data obtained from these sensors.
Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution
The “Dolphins” photo taken by Paul Nicklen’s DJI Mivic 3 camera clearly demonstrates the benefits of the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution system, which is part of the Swedish brand’s camera capabilities. The Natural Color Solution system is the result of decades of work by experts who have been able to achieve impressive results in the field of photographic technology. In assist from this, new technology, you can always get a photo with vivid, natural colors with the simple press of the shutter.
Excellent result without presets
Neither before nor now hasselblad systems require complex post-processing. This fully applies to the Mavic 3 camera as well. Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) is the result of pixel-level development by the Hasselblad experts. This is an innovative way of functioning in a variety of conditions. It provides accurate reproduction of natural colors and shades.
Pixel calibration
The highest image quality is provided by many prims. In particular, to get natural colors from the Mavic 3 camera, the developers added the L2D-20c lens. Therefore, there are no differences from other Hasselblad cameras in this sense either. The lens meets the high standards and desires of aerial photography professionals by calibrating each pixel and using HNCS.
Accurate Color Reproduction
Mavic 3 features the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution, the culmination of decades of photographic experience that delivers vivid, natural colors with the simple press of the shutter. Therefore, you will always get vibrant natural colors in any conditions without complex post-processing and the use of presets.
Tele Camera
At the top of the imaging module is a Tele Camera that provides 28x magnification through hybrid zoom. The unique Tele Camera makes Explore Mode the perfect way to investigate and plan shots. When scenes or subjects are far away, use the Tele Camera to zoom in and save time. You can even use it to record objects from a distance without disturbing the scene. The camera is equipped with a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor and a lens with an FOV 15°, 162mm EGF, f/4.4 aperture, and a focus from 3m to ∞
Explore Mode
Activate Explore mode to unlock Mavic 3’s second camera. A unique tele camera that lets you effortlessly scout and plan your shots. When scenes or subjects are far away, use the tele camera to zoom in, or record from a distance without disturbing the subject. This way you save time as well.
